The beautiful landscape of Marblehead has been home to many in the fishing and yachting industry. In the latter part of the 1800’s, the town had experienced a brief involvement in the shoemaking business with factories being erected in the town. During that time, yachting and yacht clubs had become more popular and was soon home to six clubs in the area.
Today, Marblehead still remains a popular destination for many and is home to approximately 20,000 residents. Some visitors look to enjoy the beautiful coastline while residents seek the perfect nautical town to call home. Immersed in history, Marblehead has over 200 homes and buildings that predate the Revolutionary War.
